RECOMMENDATIONS

We have decided to forgo a traditional hotel block.

The hotels closest to the venue are in Downtown Brooklyn. Unfortunately there was an unpredicted price surge for the hotels we originally chose, so we have decided to let guests choose their own hotel. No matter where you stay in NYC, you will be able to get to the venue! Use Google Maps to get a driving time to calculate your Uber/Lyft/Taxi.

Airbnb is an option for those of you who would like to stay in a group. The following neighborhoods are safe and would be convenient to the venue: Red Hook, Carroll Gardens, Boerum Hill, Downtown Brooklyn, DUMBO, Gowanus, Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Crown Heights. These are a bit farther: Bedford-Stuyvesant, Clinton Hill, Williamsburg, Sunset Park. We would not recommend staying in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Flatbush, or Brownsville.

BROOKLYN HOTELS CONVENIENT TO VENUE … We will provide a shuttle to downtown Brooklyn after the wedding. The shuttle will only make two stops so that we can accommodate more trips to and from the venue. The stops will be at the Holiday Inn in downtown Brooklyn and the Hilton Brooklyn. All of the hotels listed here are either a short walk or taxi ride from the shuttle stops.
